Let's get it fixed! It looks like Intel might have another wifi driver option for me to try direct from Intel's site dated 11/13 or 11/15. I'm not sure if this is Lenovo, Intel or Windows 8.1 at fault but Bluetooth and dual band wifi have been out for a few years now. I really hate to drop 2 G's on a MacBook Pro right now but if it means basic things just work than I might have to go fight the Black Friday crazy people for a replacement this weekend. I have been as patient as possible but this is getting old. 45 days will be up at Best Buy for me this Sunday. Again, my quickest fix is to press the airplane mode button on and then off and things seem to come back but last night I had to do a full reboot to get things functioning again. I have the new 7260 AC card installed in mine and occasionally I will randomly loose my Bluetooth as you describe above but I also randomly loose my 5 ghz connection to my Asus AC66U router. I have also tried repair and updating the bluetooth driver within Device Manager, neither of which are working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth driver and it doesn't work. Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) 4.0 + HS AdapterĮxcept my bluetooth icon still doesn't show up, bluetooth settings don't exist and under PC Settings there is not option for bluetooth settings either.
In device manager, after my bluetooth icon disappeared and my bluetooth device disconnected, instead of displaying an unknown USB device, under bluetooth category it says: Today, the driver is doing something different. I have the same issues as the problems described here:
